The Tails of the World Book, is a Celebration of dog portraiture by photographers from around the globe. I'm excited to be among them for a third time! Each of us choose our town, 10 dogs from the area and our local rescue to donate to. All the proceeds from the sale of the Tails Book around the globe are donated to GAWS rescue.
If your Pup is selected, Choose one of the Photo Session options and $100 to $200 of your Session fee is donated to our LOCAL RESCUE, Animal Haven by the Sea Rescue. You receive a professional, custom Dog Portrait Photo Session by Cannon Beach Dog & Family Vacation Photographer, Cynthia Wolf, plus, your Dog will have one portrait image in the International Tails of the World Book, Volume 4! The Book will be published November 2025 and ready for purchase then. 100% of the proceeds of Tails of the World Book are donated to GAWS Geelong Animal Welfare Society

Animal Haven by the Sea Rescue. The Rescue was founded by Lee Blackman, and does an amazing job providing a loving home for animals in distress, who need medical help or focused attention. When Lee passed away, his wife and family have taken over the non profit to continue helping animals in distress. The $100 to $200 from each Portrait session is Donated to this Rescue!!
I can only choose 10 sweet Doggies from my area for this International Book, so there's an application process. Scroll to find the Form.

Then she/he may have what it takes to apply to have her beautiful image in this book!
The Portrait Shoots are scheduled on designated days and times in May & June
You can choose the short mini type session at $199 ($100 donated to Animal Haven) The mini sessions are 15 to 20 minutes and are focused on capturing an awesome image of your Dog for the Book. Options to upgrade to a longer portrait session to capture more images are available and additional money is donated to Animal Haven from those sessions from those session upgrades. The session option details are listed below the application on this page.

We will be in different locations on Cannon Beach, from North Beach to South Beach with a session in Manzanita too and Short Sand. Each day will be at one designated location.
If raining, we will reschedule, or if light drizzle we can wait for the rain to quit and shoot later! (Can't make those dates, but still interested? Contact me to see if there is an opening in my schedule)

I can only choose 10 Dogs and only one photo from the session will go in the book. Prints, albums, wall art and the Tails of the World Book are not included in the session fee. There will be many images to choose from if you want to purchase print products. The book will be published in November 2025 and available at our local Cannon Beach Book Company and on Amazon and Barnes & Noble on line.
If you have 2 + dogs in your family the photo can include all the family dogs!
