American Landscape - Pastel
Clive R. Tyler's unique, fine art, pastel paintings rich with light and color are created in a classic oil painting style, capturing the heart of the western landscape. Painting outdoors as much as possible, Clive re-creates the experience of place; "I have to be there, then I can paint." His larger studio work is based on his plein-air painting experiences. He often paints in a series as an effective way to represent the environment. Clive is offering a 3 day Plein air workshop in Ashland, Oregon, July 10th thru July 12th, 2010.
